Over at CAP, Karen Davenport helpfully gathers and recaps a series of research papers and studies that the think tank has done that answer that age old question: What does health care reform do for me?
The answer, as you'll find if you click over to CAP, is that health care reform does a lot for all of us. It improves care, by rewarding quality instead of quantity, and by making it easier for doctors and nurses to coordinate our care. It saves money and lowers the deficit and extends the solvency of Medicare. And it actually creates jobs. It empowers patients. And it makes sure that all of us have the security of knowing we and our famlies have access to care when we need it.
